King’s Man

aka The King and The Clown.
Wangnamle

fantastic movie dude.
just got the chance to watch it yesterday
but warning ahead do not watch it
with the parental unit.
hahahahaha my mistake of watching
it with my dad. have to fast forward
a few scene. huhuhuhu
alrity King’s Man is a briliant korean movie
adapted from a highly aclaimed play
"you(yi)" that recieved many awards since it
first performance in 2000.
Don’t watch if you hate homosexual theme movie,
coz this definately one of them :D
it’s not heavy and terang terangan like
brokeback mountain. coz I think Koreans
love to put homosexual "undertone’ in
their movies.
Poster

King’s men is stage time dulu2 nyer Dynasty. I forgot
which dynasty mah…
Jang-saeng (played by Gam Woo-sung) is a clown
who abandons his troupe after realizing that it
had
degenerated into a plaything for the
aristocrats. With a fellow clown
named
Gong-gil (Lee Joon-ki), whom he loves deep
in his
heart, Jang-saeng leaves for Soeul for
a new life. There he leads a
show troupe and
with his exceptional talent makes the troupe famous

with a show that satirizes King Yeonsan (Chung Jin-young)
and
his favorite concubine, Nok-su (Kang Sung-yeon).
King
Yeonsan, as weird as it sound, happen to falls in
love with the
performance and provides living
quarters for the clowns in the palace.
He soon
starts to cast amorous glances at Gong-gil, however, which

causes Nok-su to fall into a jealous rage and devise
an evil plot. belive it or not, she only cast one evil plot and hell broke loose.
ehehehehhe :D.
I can’t say much coz it will ruined the plot…but this movie is
totally different from any korean movies that i saw.

junki’s acting blowed me away. because before this
I didn’t really noticed him in My girl, his character
in my girl didnt blow me away like Gong-gil did
i admire his courage to play a
femine guy
He did a superp job on reflecting his
character. His crying
and screaming
was really realistic. (i would have to amit,
i was
fooled) Everything was nicely place together,
the acting, the plot,
and the story overall.
